Founded in 1979 by Graça Viterbo, our studio due to our experience has a unique track record in the world of interiors.
Gracinha Viterbo represents the second generation of this legacy and has had her work published in the best design publications and is today a renowned figure in the international interior design scene.
Born into the Interior design Industry she had a French education and British Design training. A world citizen and global traveler, Gracinha is a style expert, and her 20-year career has led her to believe Interiors are a powerful tool of emotional empowerment along with their aesthetical impact. Gracinha likes to hear the clients and take them on a unique, personalized, and mindful experience. An aesthete supported by a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural specialized team.

She has spent twenty years with her husband Miguel honing how her collaboration and vision for a client can become a reality. With a life always inspired by the Realm of artistic creation – Gracinha is today an inescapable figure in Interior Design world. Having attended the French School Lycée Charles Lepierre, in Lisbon, it was in London, at Central St. Martin´s College of Art and Design and Chelsea College of Art and Design ( both part of the University of Arts ), that Gracinha finished her degree in Interior Architecture, after specializing in Decorative Arts at the renowned Inchbald School of Design. Still in London, Gracinha joins the team of famed South-African Interior designer Kelly Hoppen, before returning to Portugal in 2000 to work side by side her mother. In 2008 Gracinha and her husband -Viterbo´s managing partner Miguel Vieira da Rocha, give continuity to the Viterbo Portuguese Style Legacy, taking the creative lead of Viterbo Interior Design. Chameleonic, Gracinha interprets Lives and crafts high end Interiors, recreating unique and inimitable ambiances that reflect stories, experiences and memories as unique as the identity of each client. Her portfolio includes projects for hotels and private homes across the World. Gracinha has been the creative ambassador for the brand’s internationalization, leading international projects that include Five star hotels, as well as Boutique Hotels, which have earned her a host of illustrious Distinctions and Awards worldwide. She enjoys collaborating in niche and challenging style duets like recently designing a Wallpaper for De Gournay Wallpapers, being one of the global faces of the Star Alliance campaign, or partnering with Nespresso for their Lifestyle collection presentation. Above all, Gracinha believes that design can have an empowering and emotional impact on her clients lives and passionately dedicates herself project by project to empower her client´s vision.

Miguel Stucky Vieira da Rocha joined Viterbo Interior Design in 2001.
With a degree in Management from the European University and an MBA from the IE Business School, Miguel is the CEO/Managing Partner of Viterbo. Of course, Miguel has crafted the business side of Viterbo to be ultimately responsive and as creative as the designs the business produces. Miguel has focused his energy on delivering not just superb results but an intrinsically valuable process that focuses on the power of design, creativity, effective communication to achieve unparalleled support and execution.

Miguel Stucky Vieira da Rocha joined Viterbo Interior Design in 2001.
With a degree in Management from the European University and an MBA from the IE Business School, Miguel is the CEO/Managing Partner of Viterbo. His extensive 20 years experience in the luxury and design industry, has positioned Viterbo studio as a leader in the International Design scene. Miguel is recognized for his ability of coordinating our “in house” teams to successfully deliver the demanding nature a crafted project requires anywhere in the world.

Our European creative Atelier is based in Cascais ( 20 minutes from Lisbon).
With a multidisciplinary team of 25 trained professionals, we also have our own in-house upholstery, curtain, and carpentry workshop so we can take custom-made design and service to the highest level.
Our 2000 SQM warehouse close to the Port of Lisbon centralizes all incoming orders from all over Europe for a rigorous quality inspection before shipping to each Project site for installation. This Formula allows access to our Clients to an infinite range of options with the latest tendencies carefully curated by Gracinha Viterbo.
